Michael Richardson Horsemanship Photoshoot

Broken R Ranch is run by Michael Richardson and his wife Tiffany. As a child and young adult, Michael competed as an elite horseman winning blue ribbons in Hunter, Jumper, and Dressage events. Then when he was 20 years old a split-second decision to avoid a deer standing in the road changed Michael's life, but he says it is for the better. After the injury, Michael was forced to relearn everything he knew. While earning an Associate Degree in Equine Studies at Parkland College in Champaign, Illinois, he met Dr. Gayla Sargeant and developed the basis for his current program, teaching the model of compassionate leadership and showing students how to reach goals with their horses.
